Question: Which beach is better Pensacola or Panama City?

Panama City Beach does have beautiful water, but in my opinion is very crowed and traffic is bad. Pensacola Beach is easier to manuver, but still lots of construction from new hotels and hurricane clean up. For true touristy experience go to Panama City, for a more relaxed small town vacation go to Pensacola Beach.

Is Pensacola cheaper than Panama City?

Panama City is 5.7% more expensive than Pensacola.

Does Pensacola have nice beaches?

Our visitors find some of the most pristine beaches in the world along the barrier islands that are home to Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key. In fact, these beaches have been ranked among the best in the country by the likes of USA Today, TripAdvisor, Dr. Beach and the Travel Channel.

Is the water clear at Pensacola Beach?

Both Destin and Pensacola (and all of the Emerald Coast towns) feature the same gorgeous clear blue-green waters and silky-white sand.

Is Pensacola Beach nicer than Gulf Shores?

We loved the sand and the color of the water better at Pensacola. However, Pensacola has huge jellyfish! I was walking down the beach and there was a massive group of people catching them because they kept stinging people.

Which beach is better Gulf Shores or Destin?

Gulf Shores is very family oriented. Destin is a bit flashier, more upper class, a little more expensive, and as previously mentioned, more traffic and further from the river so clearer water often. Both have plenty of options for condos and houses right on the water.

What is better Gulf Shores or Pensacola?

The area is a bit bigger than Pensacola so there are more hotels and condos which may make it a little busier. There are beach shops, good restaruants and activities to enjoy close by in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach too. Both areas are wonderful for families. You really cant go wrong with either place.
